Aleksandr Slobodyanik

“Mr. Aleksandr” – Principal

Mr. Aleksandr has been in the role of the principal and secondary teacher since 2007. He holds a B.A.E. from Pacific Lutheran University, TH.M. from Slavic Washington University, and M.S. in Education Leadership from Pensacola Christian College. Mr. Aleksandr has a passion for children’s education and firmly believes that our children must “know the God of our fathers, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind.” He has been married to his wonderful wife, Olga, for 13 years and has three children. Mr. Aleksandr, together with his family, loves reading books, spontaneous traveling, biking, and studying new languages.

Lyudmila Svyntsov


Mrs. Lyudmila Svyntsov is a vice-principal at TCA. She has a B.A. in Social Welfare from UW and a Master’s of Education Leadership from Pensacola Christian College. Mrs. Lyudmila enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She has a passion for ministry with children, teens, and young adults.

Natasha Kurkov


Mrs. Natasha Kurkov has been an office administrator at TCA since 2021. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School. Her favorite subject when she was a student in school is science. She loves relaxing with her family and loved ones, worshiping, going to parks with kids, cleaning and organizing.

Lyudmila Dzyubak

Auction Coordinator/Programs Manager

Mrs. Dzyubak has been at TCA since 2016 as an auction coordinator. She has worked in Christian schools for the past 11 years. She graduated from Clover Park Technical College. Mrs. Dzyubak is married and has 4 kids – who all attend TCA. She loves serving others, worshiping, and spending time with her family.

Tatyana Khomchuk

Financial Controller

 Mrs. Khomchuk has joined TCA in 2019 but has worked in the finance/management field for over 16 years. Mrs. Khomchuk has been married for 23 years and has one daughter. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys outdoor activities and the beautiful nature that God has created. She loves serving God and people!

Tatyana Romanenko

Program Coordinator

With TCA since 2020. She graduated from Clover Park Technical College. She likes uplifting songs, watching her kids play, and family outings.

Olga Thomas

Office Assistant

With TCA since 2021. She graduated from American River College, Sacramento CA. She likes Watching ocean waves, listening to worship music, spending time in nature with her family (camping, hiking… etc).

Julia Dzyubak

Music Teacher

Ms. Julia has been teaching music at TCA since 2017. She teaches KG through 6th grade. Ms. Julia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from Central Washington University. She has taught private piano for over 10 years. Ms. Julia has a love for teaching, passing on her passion for music to her students in a way that motivates them.

Natalya Golub

Russian Teacher

Mrs. Golub’s joined TCA in 2017 and is teaching 1st-4th grade, traditional Russian language. She graduated from Clover Park College. Over the past 10 years, she has been teaching Russian in the local Russian/Ukrainian school. Mrs. Golub holds a nursing diploma in Russia. She enjoys preparing Russian lessons, singing, swimming, and spending time with family and friends.

Andrey Dragonchuk

PE Teacher/Facilities Manager

Mr. D is teaching PE and coaching here at TCA since 2016. He has been happily married for 17 years and has six kids. Physical education is his passion and he loves teaching it. Mr. D has done multiple Marathon races, triathlons, and other cycling events. He especially loves playing and coaching volleyball and basketball.

Nadezhda Slobodyanik

Pre-K Teacher

Mrs. Nadezhda has been with TCA since 2010 as a preschool teacher. She has been working with children of various ages for over thirty-nine years. Mrs. Nadezhda received her degree in early childhood education from Bates. She is married and has 4 children. She likes reading the Bible, spending time with her family, and traveling.

Miss Nila has been teaching Kindergarten at TCA since 2017 and has a history of teaching preschool and serving in children’s ministry. She likes participating in outdoor activities, baking, and spending time with her family.

Ms. Annya began working at TCA in 2016. Ms. Annya was homeschooled and loves to be outdoors.

Adriana Zhukova

Mrs. Adriana Zhukova is the lower elementary lead teacher and has been teaching at Tacoma Christian Academy since 2012. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Together with her husband she enjoys exploring the outdoors with their three boys. She enjoys reading, cooking, and baking.

3B Teacher/Librarian

Mrs. Olga has been with TCA since 2008 and currently teaches 3rd grade and oversees the library. She has a bachelor’s degree from UW Tacoma in interdisciplinary arts and sciences. Mrs. Olga’s interests include gardening, nature walks, and fellowship with other Christians. She gets inspired by listening to audiobooks of biographies of great people.

Olena Mukomol

4A Teacher

Mrs. Mukomol joined Tacoma Christian Academy in 2012. She is the 4th-grade homeroom teacher. Mrs. Mukomol holds a B.A. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Central Washington University. She also holds a diploma in Christian Education and has been serving in Children’s ministry for over 25 years. She has been married for 20 years and has three children. She enjoys singing, reading, traveling, and hiking.

Inessa Sicotorschi

5th Grade Homeroom Teacher

Mrs. Inessa Sicotorschi /See-ka-tor-chee/ (Deshkin) is an elementary teacher who works with 5th graders to understand and appreciate Mathematics, Language Arts, and Sciences. She believes reaching the hearts and minds for Christ is vital at ages 8-12 y.o. for them to choose their path in this world. Committed to ministry and work with children, this is her 6th year serving at TCA. Among her wide range of achievements, Inessa is trained in Health and Wellness Coaching and holds a Bachelors in Theology from Slavic Bible College. It is incredible! What started as her hobby in 2005, is now her full-time ministry here at TCA!

Oksana Linnik

5th Grade Teacher

Ms. Linnik began teaching at TCA in 2016. She started as a teacher’s assistant and substitute, which led her to take a 5th-grade position. Ms. Linnik enjoys serving at her church and on mission trips. She would choose to spend time outdoors any day!

Tatyana Romanov

6A Homeroom/Russian teacher

Mrs. Romanov is the homeroom teacher for 6th grade. Mrs. Romanov has a Masters’s Degree in philology and a Masters’s in theology. She oversees the Russian program here at TCA and will teach Traditional Russian for the elementary and secondary departments. Some of her hobbies include reading, singing, and traveling; yet most of all, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. One of her favorite verses is Psalms 37:3, “Trust in the Lord and do good; Dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness.”

Paul Smith

6B Homeroom teacher

Paul Smith graduated from Bob Jones University with a degree in Physics and then pursued graduate studies at Oklahoma State University.  He began teaching at TCA in Spring 2021.  He enjoys reading, the outdoors, and classical music.  His favorite Bible verses are Romans 8:31-32: “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?”  The greatest blessing teaching for TCA is the opportunity to impact students and families for Jesus Christ.

David Swindler

7A Homeroom teacher

Mr. Swindler began working at TCA in 2021. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Washington. He has a deep love for history, science, and studying the Word of God. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing sports, and reading. Soli Deo Gloria.

Valeriy Levchenko

7B Homeroom/Bible teacher

Mr. Levchenko is a Bible, Russian language, and Homeroom teacher for 7B. Mr. Levchenko is the school Pastor and holds a TH.M. from Slavic Washington University. He also holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Architecture. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Valentina, and has four children, Sergey, Aleksandr, Nataly, and Olga. Mr. Levchenko likes reading books to his granddaughters Katherine and Sashenka, photography, and traveling.

Michael Bradburn

8th Grade Homeroom/History/Literature teacher

Here at TCA Mr. Bradburn enjoys teaching history and making an impact on students. Graduated from St. Martin’s University with a bachelor’s degree in History and a Teaching Certificate in December 2015. For three years, the Lord had blessed Michael, as a substitute teacher in the North Thurston School District, where he was trained in classroom management, and how to deliver a meaningful lesson that meets the students’ needs. Mr. Bradburn will continue to see himself as God’s humble servant who constantly attempts to give students his best effort.

Joyce Jones

9th Grade Homeroom/Secondary English, Geography

Joyce Jones is a Washington State native, born and raised in Ephrata Washington. She has an undergraduate degree in vocal performance in music and a master’s degree in secondary education. In her spare time, she loves to hike, garden, bike ride, and bird-watch. She always has a pair of binoculars close at hand (to look at birds). Joyce has four married children and 18 grandchildren. Her favorite Bible verse is II Corinthians 5:21.

Artem Svyntsov

10th Grade Homeroom/Bible and Math teacher

Mr. Svyntsov has been with TCA since 2019 working primarily as a Math and Bible teacher. This year he is the secondary math teacher for grades six through nine and is the homeroom and Bible teacher for the graduating class. He enjoys both playing and coaching various sports, especially soccer, and in his spare time spending time with family, traveling, and hiking.
